  5.     SpringyPendulum simulates the motion of a pendulum whose rigid arm has been replaced by a spring.  The relevant parameters of the physical system can be changed with sliders.  In addition to the simulation, a Mathematica notebook is incorporated into the application.  The notebook describes the derivation of the differential equations which are used to model the mechanical system.
